The footprint is about 2 feet deep and 4 feet wide, so it does take up some floor space. The only downside is the 30-day warranty is pretty short for something this heavy. Also, the rack doesn't come with any screws or anchors if you want to bolt it to the floor. Overall, it's a solid storage solution for the price.
